My Students

Hi, I am a teacher in Georgia and I teach 2nd grade. Currently in our classroom, we have 24 students. With 24 students, I like to make learning as fun and creative as I can, as we have different learning styles and different wants and needs! My students are innovative and love to do anything that requires using their hands to create and build using higher level thinking as they liked to be challenged! We are trying to incorporate a lot of STEM projects and activities this year in the classroom due to their different learning styles and their want of working in groups.

My Project

In our second grade classroom we are limited to 3 laptops for 24 students. It is hard to divide these up and decide who can use them and when. When using them in centers, students have to share and this can be a REAL struggle when students are on different levels of reading and math skills.

A CHROMEBOOK would be such a TREASURE to our class!

We would be able to complete more activities and use them for our push of completing more research and STEM based projects! The students could still share these, but there would be more availability with another device.
