Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been blessed to work with such amazing students who work so hard. My school is a Title I school 100% of the students get free lunch. I have a class of 26 amazing students that does nothing but inspire me to be the best teacher I can be. These kids make the best out of what we have and they never give up on learning with me. These kids go through so many challenges in their lives but fight like the Kirk Lions we are at school. They always amaze me every year and are so deserving!
My Project
Please, please, please help us hear in my classroom. My classroom is a very busy class. It is NEVER quiet because my students are ALWAYS on the move and learning, talking, working in groups, working individually or just being a busy kinder bee. With that being said, our headphones are worn out. The ones we got from our school have all broken and our supply for headphones will not be replenished. My students have been complaining how they can't hear on the computers because our headphones are out. These headphones will help my students listen in our listening centers, and work on their skills on the computer. The CD player will replace one broken CD player I have at my listening center and the batteries will be used for the CD players in my room so that I will not have to replace them again and again.
