My school serves students in grades kindergarten through sixth and provides a caring, positive, safe environment with fantastic teachers and a rigorous curriculum. My first-grade classroom is full of eager, enthusiastic learners who are encouraged to reach their fullest potential. In order to achieve success, the students need a variety of supplies and materials. My students walk into the classroom each morning ready to learn and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know that I believe in them and that they can do anything!
My Project
My students use technology daily in the classroom, especially for reading and math. They need long lasting headphones that won’t break.
Having quality headphones will help my students work quietly on the tablets without disturbing the students around them.
The headphones will also assist them at the listening center as they develop their fluency and expression while listening to books on tape.
The junction box will allow eight students to listen to the same book. Afterwards, the students will be able to share their thoughts and ideas about the book with one another.
