Help me give my students the ability to listen to audio content that will add to the stories and poems we read and watch videos that enrich their learning.
My students are some of the sweetest individuals I have ever taught. They have such optimism about the world and what I have to teach that some days, instead of it being me teaching them, they are teaching me through their observations, experiences and conversations that we have in the classrooms.
Many of my students willingly give up their time to help others both in the classroom and within our school.
They all have the ability to one day become leaders for their generation. I know that great things will follow them after they leave me, and I look forward to seeing those accomplishments.
My Project
My students live in an age where technology surrounds them. They have access to content but, in my class, being able to hear that content does not always work out. Cords go out, and then we are left with no way for students to hear the music, story, poem, or video that I have found to enrich their learning. I am hoping that we can change this very soon.
Many of my students are auditory learners, and they truly learn best when they can take the time to listen to something on their own terms.
Giving them a good set of headphones to do this will help them to become engaged in media content to enrich their learning. These students live and breathe technology at home, but they don't have the same access at school. I want to be able to give them work they will not only enjoy but also will complete.
