My students need incentives to promote good behavior. These items will be used as rewards in our school store. All students will earn Roar bucks for good behavior and be able to cash them in Fridays!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
These students are very tech savvy. These students like hands on learning activities. They learn best in a hands on students run learning environment. These students participate in STEM fairs, STEM clubs, and lego/robotics clubs. These students take education very seriously. These students need to be constantly engaged in learning to maximize success. These students love technology, manipulatives, and Project based learning experiences. These students love to lead their learning experiences. Our students are very curious by nature. These students need stem rewards and toys that will help motivate them to demonstrate positive behavior. Thank you!
My Project
After a lot of hard work we were finally able to obtain the materials for a school store. We have a rolling cart with rewards. We have started the cart, but need help maintaining it. These items will be used to fill up the cart for rewards days. The rewards store will be open at least once a month depending of our ability to stock it with supplies. I would like to have it open as many Fridays a month as possible.
The materials will help enhance student learning by motivating positive behavior.
Better behavior will make a better learning environment. When students have a tangible rewards to obtain for their reactions. These items will help fill up our rewards cart. The excitement of the students from our first rewards day was amazing. This would be a great event to have biweekly.
The items requested will be used a rewards for good behavior. Bouncy balls will be prizes but will also spark conversations about physics. Stuffed animals will be rewards, but also tie into our life science unit. These rewards were strategically picked to help encourage positive behavior. They all tie into STEM in some way. These prizes will help students be financially literate because they will have to save, and budget for the prizes they want. We are excited about these additions for our school store.
