Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Though times we are living right now! Everyone is going through social and emotional troubles; especially children. I have seen students being sad because lack of socialization. As a teacher, I am try to fill as many educational gaps during this time. However, my number one priority right one is their emotional well-being.

In my classroom, students are constantly using electronic devices to learn in our STEM program.

They constantly use iPads and AirPods to produce wonderful video productions. While some students are fortunate to have their own headphones, that is not the case for all of my students. It is a distraction for the entire class when a student does not have headphones. We get lots of use out of our headphones, so a new set of sturdy headphones would hopefully benefit my classes for years to come. Students use headphones in order to block out distracting sounds, so they can concentrate on their lesson. When students are able to concentrate with the help of headphones, they are highly more likely to succeed. Our STEM program truly benefits our students, however not having all the tools to produce great projects slows down education.
