Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the leaders of tomorrow. The challenges they face today will prepare them for the achievements they will strive to make in their lives, their communities and their world, in the future. They and their families inspire me to face any and all obstacles with energy, joy, and hope. They come to school, daily, determined to learn all they can. Putting time and resources into my students is an investment for a bright and promising future for us all.
My Project
I have several special needs students that need extra help to accomplish tasks in class. With a CD player, they can listen to some of their lessons in song form. Singing addition facts help them as well as my other students. Headphones will allow those who have "indidvidualized educationl plans" to use "text to speech" during exams. These devices will allow them to have passages and test questions read to them.
Audio devices such as a speaker, a CD player and headphones will help my students succeed in otherwise challenging tasks.
