Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 16 amazing first grade students! They are so full of energy and the desire to learn. Every morning, they walk in with smiles on their faces and questions about what they will be learning. They are excited to be at school!

I want to provide my students with the materials they deserve.

My students care about what they will be learning. They stay engaged and active during instruction while also taking their time to do their best while applying what they have learned. These students are amazing.

My Project

My students have been using their headphones daily since the first day of school and many of these headphones are reaching the end of their lifespan. There are students whose families cannot replace the broken headphones themselves, so we need replacement headphones already in the classroom.

My students would love a new pair of headphones!

Headphones are an essential part of their everyday materials. Without them, they cannot finish their assignments. When students are in the middle of their assignment and their headphones give out, they need immediate replacement. Having more headphones already in the classroom will allow my students the ability to have new, working materials while also being able to finish their work!
