Hello, I am a nurse at the school. Most of these students are from low-income families. Since I am not an RN, I do not receive money from the Faculty Senate to purchase supplies for the Nurse's Office. I have been purchasing items needed out of my own money. I can get a limit amount at the County office but it still does not cover everything.
Since most of the families are low income, I purchase stock as-needed medication, instead of asking individual bottles from the families.
I am hoping that you will help me with the items needed to supply the Nurses Office. Thank you for your help.
My Project
The items purchased will become stock medication and help our low-income families so that they don't have to find the funds to purchase them. This was all students can be treated when needed. 376 students with individual bags of medication would be hard to work with, but, stock medication ensures that everyone gets to be treated without all the individual bags.
Help us keep the students healthy, in school and provide for the medical supplies they will need.
These students strive to remain in school as most of them, this is the only place they feel loved and safe. Anything you can give to help me help them will be greatly appreciated.
