Help me give my students receive the equipment they deserve to help improve their performance in Wellness class physically, emotionally, and academically.
The Indiana middle school students are dynamic with eclectic personalities. The middle school students come from all backgrounds, abilities and learning styles. My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They love learning and deserve the best. The students are active learners. They come to school ready to learn as they mature into young adults of our future. Being physically fit inspires them to be better learners emotionally, academically, and physically. They are the reason I teach to inspire.
My Project
Healthy Kids=Healthy Minds will enhance the gym experience with well-deserved equipment to no only meets the standards but to improve the quality of the student's day by physical activity. Having proper equipment will help students want to participate in daily gym activities including volleyball, basketball, dribbling, shooting and coordination drills.
With improved physical skills comes improvement on mental skills which helps not only academic but with depression and anxiety.
Healthy Kid=Healthy Minds is the key to the success with middle school students. Being active a minimum of at least 30-60 minutes per day with meaningful activities and equipment will enhance the student's overall well being.
