My Students

I have been a teacher for forty years and love teaching health to all my students. I teach children subjects that vary from " Anti-Bullying" to "How their Hearts Work".

I teach nine hundred students each week from grades K-5 and they are all special.

I believe that everyone has the potential to learn. When children believe in themselves, they can do anything. A positive attitude is the foundation to learning.

My school is a multi language school with many new programs such as Spanish, French and Portuguese.

My Project

As a health teacher, I know the importance of all my students eating healthy snacks. Many of my students can't afford to buy or bring their own snacks. I want all my students to know the importance of eating so they can concentrate and learn. I never want a child to be hungry or feel they can't ask for a snack. I have a basket of healthy snacks on my health cart that I keep constantly filling for my students. Any child can come take a snack when they are hungry. No one should ever be hungry, especially a child.
