Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten students are full of excitement for learning! They love to learn through movement, songs, exploration, and hands-on experiments and materials. Students in my class are valued, and we promote a learning environment where students learn to value each other.

Many of my students are English language learners and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

However, this is not an obstacle to success in our classroom. We build a classroom community where all students can learn, succeed, and celebrate each others' strengths.

My Project

I would love to provide healthy snacks for my amazing Kindergarteners. My students and their families have been through a lot with this pandemic. Some parents have lost jobs, some are sick with Covid-19, some have lost family members, a few are homeless, and many are struggling to make ends meet.

I know these healthy snacks would be a blessing to my amazing students and their families.

This would be a small token of kindness to help my students stay healthy, strong and nourished. Thank you for considering to donate toward this special project.
