Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

It is so important that my students have a little pick-me-up when they need it after their gym class. If I keep some snacks, such as Kind bars and Clif bars, on hand they will not be hungry during the class and can then play. Something like a simple bag of chips or piece of candy can change a whole day. I am so excited to be able to give these snacks and drinks to them during COVID-19. We cannot use the water fountains, so I need to have drinks on hand. I will always keep snacks and have them for whoever needs them. I am grateful to be able to help them out with this small gesture. So many kids will benefit from this project.
