Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are in a very vulnerable stage in their life, middle school, and that I have the opportunity to help them through this stage by giving them an outlet and a safe space to grow their mindset. My Health class covers real-world topics that can help them throughout their life.

We cover all aspects of our health triangle such as our physical, mental/emotional, and social health.

This includes Nutrition, Bullying Prevention, Signs of Suicide, Human Trafficking, CPR/AED, Organ Donation, and Sex Ed!

Items such as the floor cushions will help with my classroom environment, the white board paddles and erasers will help the students learn in a more creative way and the file holders to keep me organized in the process!
