This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are amazing with adorable personalities! A variety of special needs students grades 3 to 5 with orthopedic impairment, visually impaired and developmentally delayed students with a variety of health needs. They're primarily from low socioeconomic and diverse backgrounds. They live in rural areas of our community. They are eager and ready to learn with music, technology, art, and movement activities being their favorite. Funding sources are not readily available in our community. Thank you for considering my project in an effort to improve the quality of students' health and well-being.

My Project

Providing the tools to promote healthy habits and lifestyle changes. These materials will help to develop student successes and build self-esteem.

This teaching program will be used in the home and in the classroom and will even promote better nutrition and exercise for the entire family.

By getting the entire family involved will enable the students to have support from educators and family. By promoting the health and nutrition of my students this will significantly enhance overall educational learning skills with students displaying an increased level of energy in which to learn.
