Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My first-grade students are amazing, energetic, fun, and lovely children who have the drive to learn. They are like sponges absorbing all the information they can receive from me or anyone who presents to them. Most of my children are Spanish speaking with English as a second language. Many of the parents are only Spanish speaking.
The students come to school daily ready to learn with their friends.
They are excited to be surrounded in a safe, comfortable cozy learning environment. I see them walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I feel honored to have the responsibility to teach these amazing first graders and prepare them for the next grade.

Having essential hygiene items for my students at school, and to take home will create a better learning environment. soap, cleaning wipes and distinctive spray creates happy healthy children to learn.

Students will have the essential healthy items to use daily in the classroom. I will also provide a bag of items for students to take home and use with their family. Many students see the mobile dentist when they visit our school twice a year. Lotions, hand soap, wipes, tissue and spray will help the students during the cold winter months. Several students come to class ill and with dry skin. Soaps, wipes and Kleenex will provide the daily cleanliness to help with daily happy learning.
