Help me give my students better health while they are at school. The medical supplies will help improve our students health. The pulse oximetry and the blood pressure monitor are needed in our health room for our students.

I love so many things about the students at our school. The students at my school come to school ready to learn and are happy to be at school.
The students make me laugh!
This is the one thing that can turn a bad day around to a great day!. This is when I can laugh with them for a few minutes, let them respond and have a moment to relax and just enjoy each other.
I am regularly reminded of how much stress these kids have to bear every day. Many of these kids have a bad home life. They have to deal with not having simple items in their home. One day a young girl said, "We dont have any toothpaste at our house but when my mom gets paid she is going to buy some." This is sad.
Many of our students have an extremely stressful and challenging home life. Some of the kids handle stress well, and some badly, but for the most part I am amazed at students who rise above it. The children humble me and I believe they make me a better person!
Healthy students learn better! Just a few of the health services provided by the Registered Nurse include medical and dental examinations and different health screenings such as growth, vision, hearing, and scoliosis.
Nursing services include the treatment of acute and chronic conditions, first aid, daily medication administration, health counseling, health promotion and emergency care.
The nurse and nursing assistant support the students success by providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all the children in the school setting. The school nurse addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and supports their achievement in the learning process.
The donation that is provided will go to great use in helping our students become healthier individuals. Our school has many asthma students and children that already have high blood pressure at such a young age. Many of these children are not being taken care of at home due to a lack of support and education. By having the tools to help with assessments I am able to monitor these children more appropriately and I actually feel like I can make a small difference with my knowledge and care. I love our students! Thank you!
