Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are smart, funny and very loving. Some come from homes that are low income and sometimes don't have the ability to buy their daily needs. Some are to shy or embarrased to even say they are in need of items to make it thru the day. It is awesome to see how they grow, succeed and get excited about. Some of our kids really need these items, the love and support we offer them. This is why we ask for you help.
My Project
I want to be able to help students that may not come to school in warm, clean or appropriate clothing. We assist a low income population and some families do not have the ability to provide these items. Also some of our student have accidents throughout the day and need items like this. I also want my office to be a room that children feel safe and loved that gives a positive feel. I have children medical needs that could really use the folding wall mounted desk so they can take care of their needs and have their supplies on hand. Any of your help and generosity would be appreciated! Thank you!
