Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All of my students have excitedly waited to be back in the school for Health and P.E.! These kiddos are incredibly energetic and passionate about learning new activities. This week every class wrote what they want to learn most this year in P.E. and it ranged from badminton to CPR to Paralympic sports!
My students are a diverse mix of boys and girls both local and from multiple other countries.
A total of 8 languages are heard around our school and we are ecstatic to have so many bilingual and trilingual future leaders!
All of our students want to learn life skills and I would love to be able to offer them; that is where you come in. This year, our big focus is personal and community health. My students want to be better advocates in their community to help their friends and family. In order to do that, we need better materials and curriculums to support our vision.

We are trying to collect health tools in order to teach life saving skills such as the Heimlich maneuver, preventing the spread of germs and diseases, CPR, and first aid.
This is important because these skills will stay with them for the rest of their lives and could help save themselves or their loved ones. Knowledge is always power!
