My students are amazing, resilient, and hard-working. Despite our remote location, they challenge themselves every day. I am proud to watch them grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. Together, we empower each other.

My Project
Our Health & Fitness - Team Sports Challenge is designed to engage our students by allowing them to participate in games and skills training meant to test their physical, mental, emotional, and social skills.
This project creates goal-oriented challenges designed to cultivate healthy competition among our students, while encouraging positive lifestyle behaviors, such as exercising, recording vital signs, getting enough sleep, and eating healthy.
Each challenge will have a quantifiable goal depending on the theme: Pass the CPR training, Pass the AED training; measure and record vital signs like body temperature, blood pressure, pulse (heart rate), and breathing rate (respiratory rate), conduct a visual acuity test as well as peripheral visual field tests, etc.
This is also a great way to extend healthy training that can be used at school and home and used by students to educate their families about the importance of monitoring their vital signs, participating in physical fitness and healthy eating habits.
