Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our classroom is engaged, exciting and group effort in everything they do. We have energy the second the students walk through the door and excited about the days lesson and what they will be learning

Our students come from all over the city.

Many take several buses to attend our school. Some begin their journey to school as early as 5:30 am. We have extended day for those that need or want extra help and many stay to 5:00pm. We are a magnet school within the city public schools, with a concentration on the medical field.

My Project

Our curriculum is project based. Materials like paper and mounting tabs, will assist in displaying and documenting on project boards for our health class. Many times students don't have access to materials providing paper and mounting tape, will make it easier for students to attain. Once projects are completed, we can display for the entire school and community can see. Because we have limited access to materials for mounting and displaying, my students will have paper to get the job done. This project will enable our students to mount and display projects with paper and mounting tabs.

Students won't fell inferior or slighted when they are able to use resources that will assist in their educational process.
