My Students

My students are amazing! They come from an array of backgrounds and cultures but they all can make beautiful music together.

The last few years have been challenging but the students have risen to the occasion and adjusted to the difficulties that they have faced.

Music is soothing to the soul and through music we are all healing.

My Project

My students will be able to expand on their music skills with the items in my project. I teach music to students in grades 3-12 in a rural school in Oklahoma. The materials in my grant will allow me to enrich their learning by giving them more opportunities to perform and showcase their skills by providing up to date technology and equipment.

The students will be able to connect their chrome books through Bluetooth to practice and listen to musical examples and will be able to use the speakers and microphones to perform or demonstrate music for audiences and classmates!
