Heal, Grow, and Learn Through Art

Help me give my students the opportunity to process emotions through creating expressive art sculptures.

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Polatis's classroom raised $165

This project is fully funded

My Project

Students will create an abstract sculpture that represents an emotion through color and form. They will use a subtractive method using foam materials and clay sculpting tools. Next they will prime the form with gesso. After they learn about color theory and color mixing, they will paint their sculpture using various shades and tints for shadows and highlights. These supplies will enable my students to engage in a meaningful art project to promote self-expression and new skill development.

Thank for for helping my students to heal, grow, and learn through art.

We learn best through play and expression.
