Help me give my students headsets to go with their Chromebook. Having headphones will help them complete their ACCESS test quietly and with the best hearing. They would also be able to listen to individual stories daily!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is composed of twenty-one wonderful students. They are Multilingual Learners (MLLs) who are exploring first grade content and the language of English. These students are kind, considerate and exuberant. They love to explore and learn through play/exploration.
When they walk into my classroom, they enter with excitement and gratitude.
They are respectful and responsible children. Each day, we work on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills to enhance their second language acquisition skills.
I would love for them to have access to their own tools to decrease the likelihood of spreading germs and remaining safe during these unprecedented times.
My Project
In 2020, technology is a new part of day to day life. For young learners, it can be an enhancing tool for education. My students all have their own chrome books and have access to wonderful reading programs that can read stories aloud to them. My students also thoroughly enjoy listening to phonetic songs and rhymes.
If students had their own set of headphones, they would be able to listen to stories and other educational tools without hearing the distraction of other devices or students.
Also, my multilingual learners are expected to take the ACCESS test in January. This will assess their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Students are being asked to wear headsets to help assist them with the speaking and listening domains. Giving my students headsets will help them on a daily basis and also give them the power to succeed on their assessments.
