Headsets Are Our Best Bet to Complete Our Technology Set!

Help me give my students headphone sets. Some of the Math and English content is done online, where they need to hear and interact with software. This is difficult for a class of 30 to do without these.

My Students

I teach at a public charter school with bright and motivated students. Most have attended here since Pre-school. It has a strong community feel and the students work to support and encourage each other. They love learning with technology programs that support English and Mathematics. This has been especially true at our school over the past year and a half with the pandemic, as we've needed to be flexible with our classroom offerings. Students work at achieving goals and focus on mastery of skills and standards.

My Project

As we continue through this pandemic, the need to make our classroom delivery methods flexible is ever increasing. My students need options for learning that include face-to-face interactions, but also virtual and digital options, especially when a large percentage of my class is quarantining in any given week. For those students who are still in class, we need headphones so they can hear and interact with their digital coursework without interrupting the rest of the class. This also will be very helpful for end-of-term and end-of-year testing when privacy is most important.
