My Students
My fifth grade students are curious, risk takers, in need of a variety of ways to learn, in order for all of them to succeed. As children of the 21st century my students are technologically driven and enjoy being exposed to new programs and websites that will actively engage them in their learning, whether through research, or the practice of grade appropriate skills. They are hard working children that need help to close their learning gap through the use of technology.
My Project
Headphones for my student's Chromebooks will help them focus on the lesson in front of them and block out the background noise, while at the same time allowing them to respond to the teacher and not distract their peers around them or a sibling that may also be distance learning from home.
During small group lessons in our hybrid learning environment different students will be completing different assignments online or being serviced virtually by other teachers for reading intervention while at their desks.
Using noise canceling headphones with a mic will help keep the learning environment in our classroom or at home conducive to learning.
