Mrs. Russell from Columbus GA is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students the opportunity for individualized learning in the classroom. These headphones will help them listen to lessons that are at their individual levels.

I work at a school that has very diverse learners. Our school is a low-income/high poverty school that is identified as a Title I school which means many students come from families who do not have the resources and background to support learning outside the classroom. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch at the school.
Even though my students struggle with academics, they love learning, they are curious and creative!
My students are eager and interested in anything that has to do with computers and tablets, they could actually be called fearless when it comes to using these technology tools! As children growing up in the age of technology, they need to be prepared to engage their world, and we are trying to find ways to encourage this engagement.
We are a school that has embraced personalized learning in all of our classrooms. My kids love using technology and learning on computers really helps us (the teachers) reach each student on their individual level. This year, we have Chromebooks for each student to use, but unfortunately we do not have headphones or ear buds for these students.
Students need to be able to focus and concentrate on their assigned lessons, activities, and (sometimes) tests on their computers!
Without any headphones, the classroom often becomes very noisy and distracting to all of the students, but especially my learners, creating an environment that is not favorable for learning.
