My Students

My request is for six sets of headphones.

Many of my students don't have access to headphones for our computers, which causes them to get distracted while using online learning programs for reading and math. My students are amazing, and they deserve an equitable education. My students are extremely eager to learn and always happy to come to school every morning.

My Project

Headphones in our classroom would mean students will have the opportunity to fully immersed in the online academic program they are accessing. Many times students get distracted while trying to stay engaged in a task they are working on.

With the aid of headphones, students will be able to retain more information and stay focused on classroom tasks.

We are lucky enough to have the computers in our classroom, but many students struggle with staying focused if they can hear noises around them.

Many students will benefit from having headphones, while working on assigned online math and reading assignments in the classroom.
