Headphones to Support Learning in Technology Center
My students need headphones to increase learning during center time. Headphones will help decrease distraction from students in other centers and increase engagement.

The use of technology gives each student individualized instruction to increase their learning and directly meet their needs.
I am in a classroom with 26 students.
I am a dual certified teacher working with students in general education and students with learning disabilities. We love using Go Noodle and doing brain breaks. We are in a school that teaches students in grades K-5. Our school is a home to almost 900 students and over 100 staff members.
My Project
We do centers twice a day, every day. During center rotations, student engage in partner activities, independent activities, teacher led activities, and technology based activities. There is a lot going on during center time, which can be very distracting. We would use the headphones to make sure students at the technology center are engaged and have the chance to complete their given activities without being distracted.
The donations to help buy headphones for our technology center will help increase engagement and learning in all centers.
The volume on the computers will not distract students who are not in the technology center, as well as students working together in other centers will not distract those who are in the technology center. Overall, all students' learning will be increased.
