My Students

My 6th-grade students are amazing and many have overcome so much adversity in their short lives. Our school is a Title I school, and 95% of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. They are such amazing kids, and it is crucial that I provide them with the most engaging and positive reading and writing experiences in order to get them to where they need to be and have successful futures.

"What we learn becomes a part of who we are." The donation to my middle school will change students' learning experience.

My goal is to always create a positive learning environment for my students, and your donation will help so much. We really appreciate you.

My Project

My students need headphones in order to listen to different websites for learning. Because we don't have headphones right now, students are not able to use awesome websites that I know about to help them with reading and writing. Sometimes we use headphones for websites, sometimes students use them to help them read something that is beyond their reading level, and sometimes students use headphones to listen to instrumental sounds while writing. There are so many possibilities that we could have if we had headphones in our classroom. I know learning would be enhanced with this technology. Each student would be able to have a pair to use in the classroom, and it would be fair for all.
