My students need headphones to support their learning. This year, we have 1 to 1 technology for our students, but we don't have headphones to access a variety of different programs.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
TES isn't just a school, it's a family where all teachers, students, and staff work together to do what is absolutely best for all of OUR students. I want my students to know that I care about them, by teaching them everything I can to help them be successful in life! My students are all active, energetic, eager learners! This year our school has been fortunate enough to have 1 to 1 technology. My 4th-grade students have their own Chromebooks and we use a variety of different programs to demonstrate their learning. They are so excited to use technology and are always asking if we are going to use our Chromebooks.
My students all come from a low poverty area where school supplies are not always available to them!

My Project
During the academic school day, my students spend varying amounts of time on their Chromebooks researching information using digital E-books, watching videos to help them learn how things work, completing math programs, as well as learning about Science.
With headphones, students are more focused and are less distracted by the noise of other computers around them!
Currently, they listen to the reading and programs at a low volume or with broken headphones which can interfere with other students' learning and understanding. Being able to hear what is being said through the headphones would be greatly beneficial to these students without the distraction of other computers around the classroom.
