My Students

I am a first grade teacher with a class of 24 eager 1st graders! My school contains students from middle to low socioeconomic status. They are a mix of Hispanic, Caucasian, Indian, and African American students. All of these students, regardless of language and background, are very eager to learn.

My students are extremely motivated when given the opportunity to use technology to further their learning in all subjects.

This project would help our classroom utilize the technology we have available in our classroom.

My Project

Throughout the day we use many kinds of technology including tablets, computers, audio CDs, and a Smartboard. All of these forms of technology require headphones so multiple students can learn at once without being distracted by noise from other students. Students use these headphones to listen to educational videos, reading quizzes, educational games, and read aloud stories.

Our classroom needs headphones to help us learn while using technology.

Without headphones, student cannot easily access the technology they need to help them learn. In today's society, being familiar with these forms of technology is an important part of learning and a class set of headphones will help my students acquire more knowledge.
