My Students
I have amazing, smart, and eager students who loved to be challenged and enjoy engaging lessons. The majority of my students are low income and have limited technology skills. Many of my students meet weekly using google meet but some do not have the technology available to join the class. Although our school has been closed, learning is still happening and getting ready for next year is important to us.
My Project
We love to read but sometimes it becomes intimidating when you are not sure how to pronounce new words in a second language. With schools closed, online learning has become an important way to connect with my students so that learning continues.
Read a loud books help children become avid readers through awakening their imaginations and improving their language skills.
I am asking for help to get headphones to students who can listen to me read as I post short stories online and books to students who do not have access to technology to keep them learning. I am also asking for 48 composition books that will be used as journals to help my students express their feelings on various topics related to the readings and emotions they are experiencing.
