My Students

There is a great demand for our children to be computer literate. They also enjoy learning using interactive software.

Many of my students are low income second language learners.

They do not get an opportunity to use technology for learning at home. They learn best by using hands-on or interactive activities. Our school is trying to implement more technology to prepare them to become lifelong learners. Teaching them to utilize multimedia sources will empower the students to access information about their world.

My Project

They will be using individual iPads in class. Each students will need their own individual headphones. For sanitary reason, it is best for each student to keep an individual set of headphones all year. Headphones are necessary with the interactive applications we will be using because they contain audio and video.

This project will improve the environment of my classroom by allowing each student to work individually without disturbing their neighbors.

Having their own headphones will help prevent outbreaks of head lice.
