My Project

I'm excited for the new school year and to meet my new 2nd graders! One thing I need for each student is a pair of headphones. I ask parents to provide a pair at the beginning of the year, but not all parents are able to do so. I like to have extra headphones for those students who cannot afford to bring their own.

Headphones are needed when the students are using their chrome books.

We do research online for their animal report, we do Lexia (phonics) and iReady (math) as well as Kahoots, Blookets, and Nearpods. Another program I introduced last year was Code.org. I saw the value of this program when the students learned to communicate, collaborate, and problem solve while coding.
