My Students

My students are 6 - 8 years old, with a wide range of academic and social needs. All my students are kind, thoughtful, smart and engaged. They share with each other, help each other, and are becoming global citizens. They come from a wide variety of diverse backgrounds of experience and cultures, but they come together everyday to learn and grow together. I'm proud to be their teacher, and I want to give them everything they deserve in a classroom.

My Project

What type of learner are you? When I'm writing, I need silence. When I'm studying, I need classical music. My students are learning what works best for them, and it is a very wide range of learning needs.

Some students need to literally whistle while they work, while others require complete silence to be successful.

Our classroom currently has four noise cancelling sets and students find them so helpful that it's a challenge for them when their time with them is up. Noise cancelling headphones will help support all learners by making the tools available, when they need them, to learn best.
