My Students
Technology can be a great resource in the class! As education grows and evolves so does our use of technology. Many of the learning games and state exams we use daily in our class require the use of headphones, microphones along with computers and tablets to work.
Help us to better use technology in our classroom as we work to become better readers!
Technology can reduce or eliminate barriers to learning for students in special education. It allows them to be more independent, keep up with their peers, gain self-confidence, and collaborate with classmates.We are so excited to try new programs and activities that help us learn.
My Project
I teach an amazing group of 3rd graders, whats even more amazing about them is how they persevere and succeed through many different learning differences.
Many students with special needs, require testing accommodations to help them succeed at the same rate as their peers- this is an issue of equity and one we face daily in the classroom.
Help me provide headphones and technology that facilitates differentiated learning in the classroom. With the heal of headphones my students will be able to use text to speech as well as verbatim reading of assignments, tutorials, and most importantly assessments. This little help makes a huge difference in the academic success of so many students.
