My Students
Hello. I would like to introduce my class. I have a class of thirteen, 6 boys and 7 girls. We are starting our year off without seeing each other face-to-face, as much schools are, but its super heartbreaking to know I won't meet my students like how I usually do.
I have students who come from struggling homes and need structure and accountability.
This new structure is going to be a struggle for all involved as we learn new ways to learn. My class will be first graders who only received half of their first year of school ever last year. So it will definitely be a challenge to engage these little learners.
My Project
The headphones with microphones will be used while learning at home. Our school is 100% online to start the school year. My little first graders are still early learners and need to take away all distractions that learning from home comes with. With good headphones they are able to isolate what is being shared on-screen and can also minimize the background noise the teacher hears as well with the microphone use. This will also allow for students to record their own voice in lessons requiring voice recording to assess knowledge.
