Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am blessed to be the teacher of 25 motivated eclectic third graders. We are a part of a large public school in Oakland, California and we are having a such a great start to the new school year. We are a class with such amazing assets. We speak 7 different languages, our families come from so many different countries, and we come together to cultivate a classroom culture that values diversity and strength.
My third graders are hardworking, curious, and come to school ready to learn everyday!

My Project
We are getting more use out of our Chromebooks! In order to get the best use, each student will need a pair of their own! Having headphones allows us to listen to the text to sound speech, listen to prompted questions and assistant, and allow us to engage more meaningfully with various math, reading, and writing programs. Ensuring each student has a pair of headphones can allow them to stay focused and independently when working. I am especially excited for these programs to help with my English Learners.
Chromebook programs allow us to differentiate instruction for each students' own academic growth!
