Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My School is a title one school which means most of the students in the building receive free or reduced lunch. We are diligently working towards stem certification and would love some more technology in the classroom.
My students come from middle to low income families and are a bright group of diverse children from many different backgrounds.
About 80% of our students come from Hispanic backgrounds. They are great children that are eager to learn about the world. They may not have a lot, but they don't let that stop them.
My Project
We are in need of a class set of headphones. We would like to utilize our technology daily but without headphones the classroom gets pretty loud.
In order to use our Chromebooks and all the fun apps and websites we would like we need headphones.
Our district provide Chromebooks for our entire school and we are truly grateful.
We like to individualize instruction and in order to utilize the technology that helps us to do that. The students need to be able to hear their computers.
To receive a class set of headphones will tremendously help our classroom run more smoothly. The students will be able to work in a quieter environment and focus better.
