My Students
Every day I have the opportunity to work with a group of kiddos that continuously grow and change. My class is comprised of 23 awesome 3rd graders who are working hard on their academic abilities.
My kiddos are a part of a community that is a mixture of different cultures and backgrounds.
Each of them has their own interests and ideas that will help them grow and learn in today's world. My kids are part of my life, and I want to be able to help them be the best that they can be every day!
I feel so lucky to be teaching at the school that I went to as a 4th and 5th grader.
My Project
Having these headphones in class will help my students to be able focus better on their different iPads applications. Each day my students are working in center rotations for both math and reading blocks. With better headphones, my students could put 100% into the work they are doing to help reiterate and reteach learned material.
My students and I have set goals to reach mastery of our 3rd grade standards, and with these headphones we can make sure that our goals are achievable.
Because of our current earphones, and lack thereof, many of my students get off task and need reminders to stay focused.
