My Students
My students are all wonderful. This is a group of 3rd graders who are on the cusp of technology and real-world events. They mostly come from middle to low-income homes. Our school is a Title I school, and all students receive free breakfast and free lunch.
My students are hard workers and they all have a genuine desire to learn.
They study hard and they strive for excellence on all assignments. They constantly show me their appreciation each day by giving me a hug as they enter or exit the room.
I am the lucky one to be teaching them. They inspire me with their eagerness. They are awesome.
My Project
The headphones and charging station that I am requesting for my students already have a great purpose. They will be used in the technology center with our tablets. I am implementing a technology based center within the classroom this year. Each group will consists of approximately 5-6 students and they will be using tablets along with headphones. The need for the headphones will allow individual students to learn privately and not disturb the rest of the class.
By donating to this project, you will be helping my students to achieve greater success in reading and social studies.
The headphones will be used for listening to lessons on literacy or going on a scavenger hunt in social studies. In this ever changing world, any interaction with technology will help them make gains in literacy and increase their desire to learn.
