My students need colorful and comfortable headphones to enhance their learning and love of technology.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students live in an urban area, and many of them come from low-income families. This year, I have 36 wonderful five-year olds! The school has grades K4-5th. My students are young, easily engaged, and enthusiastic about school. They are well-behaved and ready to learn how to read! They love working on computers, singing songs, making projects, and helping each other learn.
Our school has limited resources and many families cannot afford basic school supplies needed each year.
The students only get gym, music, and art once per week. The students work so hard and appreciate everything they get!
My students need comfortable headphones to use during computer literacy and math time each day. Our school district uses special computer programs called ST Math and Headsprout to enhance the students' learning of the skills used in class.
The headphones will allow them quiet and comfort while working on independent learning.
Each computer program teaches and helps practice skills such as letter sounds, sounding out words, reading short books, and learning vowel patterns. The math program allows the students to practice mental math to learn addition and subtract as well as shapes and counting. The computer programs have fun characters that sing songs, and the students earn points and stars when they reach the next level.
These headphones will enhance their learning and keep them focused all year long!
