Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Early elementary education now includes work on devices. Our class is fortunate enough to have a Chromebook for each student. In order for students to be able to focus when working on devices, headphones are necessary.

This group of students has been with me since kindergarten and will be entering second grade next year.

While some brought a pair of headphones in August, they have not lasted the year.

I hope to use these same supplies next year when I begin again with another kindergarten group. We will be doing a rotation as I have done with my current group. I would like to address these issues with them before they leave me. The headphones will also be needed to use with independent work on Chromebooks.
