My students need headphones to use technology in meaningful ways. We use technology for assessments, skills practice, and learning. Headphones will allow my students to hear without interrupting other students.
There are 24 students in my third grade homeroom class. I also work with another group of 22 third graders during our reading block. These students represent a wide range of academic abilities and socio-economic backgrounds, but what unites them is an enthusiasm for learning!
I recognize that technology is an important part of my students' lives, so we embrace technology in our classroom!
I strive to make my classroom a dynamic, interactive environment where students can learn in a variety of settings and with a variety of instructional tools.
My students love to use technology in the classroom! Having a pair of headphones for each student will allow me to incorporate more technology for each student. Students will be able to work at their own level to practice skills in math and reading. They can watch videos to enhance their understanding of a topic. They can enjoy listening to a story being read to them. The possibilities are endless!
Technology can be a powerful and motivating tool in the classroom!
Headphones will allow my students to engage in their learning and take ownership of their goals and progress. We will be able to use the headphones throughout the day to provide a more interactive education for all my students!
