Help me give my students to be more efficient on their Chromebooks, which they use all day long in classes. The headphones will help them to work independently on assignments that are individualized for each student.
The special education students in my class are hard working. They struggle to learn the concepts and apply the strategy that we present on a daily basis. My students need real-world situations through the education process to help them function when they go out into the real world.
My students are learning in new ways this year due to the pandemic so we as educators must meet the challenges that they are experiencing.
As our students learn online at school and home, they need tools that help them understand and equip them to be successful in each endeavour that attempt. The Chromebooks are a part of their everyday life, so it is important that they have tools like a mouse and headphones to make it easier to access their work.
As our students grow and learn in this environment now, we are working hard to provide for them the tools for success in every aspect of their life.
My Project
The Digital Headphones will be used to let each student in my Special Education class access assignments on an individualized basis. They work on reading writing, and math skills in which they are able to have the text read to them. Each student works on their own level so no two assignments are exactly alike that is why the headphones are so important to their academic growth in all subjects.
Student growth and success in the classroom as well as in the world is the most important aspect of education in my classroom.
We are working on pre-requisite skills to fill in the gaps in each individual's academic education as well as their social skills. Student goals are to each student have a place in the world they live in now and in the future.
