Help me give my students the ability to work on their own skill levels using adaptive software for reading and math to help increase basic skills which have dipped during coronavirus.
I have twenty-four, incredible third graders from a variety of backgrounds and abilities. They are dynamic learners who love to be engaged in learning. My students are at a critical phase in their academic journey. As students transition from lower grades to upper grades, literacy becomes increasingly important.
My Project
Since the pandemic started, my students have lost some of the basic skills needed to be on-grade-level for their current year. My third graders need individualized instruction in both reading and math. We use two programs at our school that provide this individualized instruction, iReady and Lexia. My students need access to these programs with the use of good, quality headphones for independent work. The headphones we are currently using break easily, and are not holding up. I'd like to be able to provide them with a comfortable, quality and durable headphone for the remainder of the school year.
