My Students

I work in the special education department at a high school in rural Washington state. We serve a high migrant, high english language learner and high poverty population. In fact, over 90% of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Despite many odds working against them, my students have set big goals for their futures and work hard every day to obtain them. I believe it is my job as an educator to inspire them and push them towards their goals and dreams. Thank you in advance for supporting my students!

My Project

I am asking for wireless headphones that my students can use to complete their work at home. Our students need lots of motivation to get through a period of online learning this fall. I plan on distributing these headphones to my students who put forth the most effort this fall. Students will earn raffle tickets through completing work, attending live lessons, and attending intervention time. The fact that these headphones can be used to support their online learning AND be used as a prize is a win-win. Thank you in advance for supporting my scholars.
