This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My school is a Title I school that serves a low socioeconomic community with over 90% qualifying for free or reduced-price lunches. My students love to learn, and it makes me want to be a better teacher for them daily.
My students come to school not only to learn academics but to learn to be a part of a community.
My students love to come to school to learn new things, as well as how to be friends and helpers in their community.
My students make my job so fulfilling and I love to give back to them whenever I can.
My Project
My students love their iPads so much that they always want to use them during independent time. With all of the iPads on at once, the noise can be very loud and confusing. This is why I am asking for new headphones for my students.
Headphones always need to be updated or changed out, so this project helps me to change out a few headphones that are broken or worn out.
With the new headphones, my students can use them to work on their iPads and continue their learning!
In addition to headphones, I am also asking for help in purchasing magnetic shelves that can display our books for our thematic units.
