My students need reliable kids headphones to use with classroom computers. They spend a lot of time on computers practicing their reading skills and need headphones that will help them be successful throughout their online lessons.
Creative, determined, excited, readers, and authors are just a few words that describe my students. I teach reading, writing, and social studies in a second grade classroom. My students are always eager to learn new things. They love hands-on projects and engaging lessons where they are able to explore. Many of my students come to school to try new things and grow as individuals, both academically and personally. They love asking questions and collaborating with their peers on an every day basis.
Our school is located near Jacksonville, FL where about 25% of our students come from a military family.
Each child in my classroom is truly my inspiration for teaching and help to make me a better educator every day. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies to meet all student needs. I strive to instill a love of reading in all of my students.
My Project
My students need new kids headphones to help them be successful throughout their computer based lessons at school. We have access to technology and programs that my students love! They enjoy learning through hands-on projects and technology. Our accessible programs are exciting and engaging, which enhance their love of reading! The only thing missing for their success on these programs are working headphones.
Our current headphones are broken, or falling apart, and they have trouble hearing the directions for their lessons.
My students are motivated to learn and I know how successful they could be with properly working headphones to help. My hope is that each student can have a working pair of headphones and this will help them to be able to concentrate on the lesson in front of them.
